Health Quality Council of Alberta - Client Experience Survey Report - September 2016
Christenson Communities practices "Wellness Principles" which include exercise and social interaction to encourage active and healthy living to improve our residents' satisfaction and their overall quality of life.
Christenson Communities manages luxury campuses in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Lacombe and Rocky Mountain House with over 1,500 suites. These include the award winning Devonshire Village, Citadel Village, Bedford Village, Glastonbury Village, and Royal Oak Village.
Many of these campuses are integrated into Christenson Development's innovative "Urban Village" concept. These sustainable communities are planned with the future in mind, and offer active adults a choice of housing styles in a centrally located village with shopping, transit, and professional services situated around public parks and linear walkways.
These lifestyle choices include bungalow villas, estate condominiums, high rise vistas, and luxury rental communities for active adults.
Many communities offer underground links, which allow all season access to active adult owners of adjoining condominium and rental projects to the spacious social amenities and to the many activities in the retirement campus, for a modest annual fee.
These secure, parkade level connections also enable Christenson Communities' contract home care staff to provide services discreetly, as needed, to the residents of these adjoining condominiums and rental apartment buildings, as they age.
