About Christenson Communities
Christenson Communities offers its residents a choice of award winning condominium style apartment homes, in a comprehensive "Aging In Place" campus.
By offering optional meals, Alberta Health Services funded care, and other supportive services (senior specific care, home care, and memory care for dementia and Alzheimer's to name a few), married residents can age together with pride.
As you reach retirement you may choose to downsize your home later as your needs change. Christenson Communities are comfortable and friendly retirement communities with many services and amenities nearby to ensure that we can support your lifestyle needs.
Whether you require independent living, supportive living, or assisted living lifestyle options, Christenson Communities is here to provide the best quality senior care and home care services!
Health Quality Council of Alberta - Client Experience Survey Report - September 2016
Christenson Communities practices "Wellness Principles" which include exercise and social interaction to encourage active and healthy living to improve our residents' satisfaction and their overall quality of life.
Christenson Communities manages over 1,500 Retirement Living Suites in Communties located in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Red Deer, Lacombe and Rocky Mountain House. These award winning Communities include Devonshire Village, Citadel Village, Bedford Village, Glastonbury Village, plus the Central Area Communities of Royal Oak Village, Timberstone Mews and The Ravines at Park Avenue.
Many of these campuses are integrated into Christenson Development's innovative "Urban Village" concept. These sustainable communities are planned with the future in mind, and offer active adults a choice of housing styles in a centrally located village with shopping, transit, and professional services situated around public parks and linear walkways.
These lifestyle choices include bungalow villas, estate condominiums, high rise vistas, and luxury rental communities for active adults.
Many communities offer underground links, which allow all season access to active adult owners of adjoining condominium and rental projects to the spacious social amenities and to the many activities in the retirement campus, for a modest annual fee.
These secure, parkade level connections also enable Christenson Communities' contract home care staff to provide services discreetly, as needed, to the residents of these adjoining condominiums and rental apartment buildings, as they age.
